Dizzy left the condo this morning, in his kennel of course. We finally came to the top of the list at the no-kill shelter, the North Country Animal League. I have volunteered there before, and I know it is a really nice facility. We would like to have found him a home ourselves, but we will be travelling soon and did not have a place for him to stay. I have again been impressed with the great care gs takes with the cats we have and have had in our home, he is better with animals than he knows. This is the first time we could not find a home for one of our strays. Still, I know that we did the right thing, he was sick and wounded when we found him, and I don't think he would have made it outside through these last two storms we have had.
So long my big jowled friend, I hope you find a family of your own, you certainly deserve it!
