We finally got around to putting up the Christmas decorations. I have been wanting to put them up since Thanksgiving, but just have not had the time. I still have not found my favorite Christmas decoration, but gs promises to hunt for it tomorrow.
Our new ornament for this year. Chococat! (Greg is considering getting a Chococat tattoo on his arm, by the way).
Greg's cute little Sinterklass, and the candle that smells like pine, it makes our Ikea tree seem real!
The gingerbread ornament that Beth made me in 2001. 2001 was the first Christmas after my divorce. My dear ex had put most of my treasured belongings on the deck in our backyard right before a huge thunderstorm. So, when I moved to Norfolk shortly afterwards, I came without my Christmas decorations, save for the ones in my parent's attic. The gingerbread man was my only ornament that didn't come from the dollar store in 2001. I love it!
Cassie made this ornament for one of our cats, I am not sure if it is supposed to be Sol or Monk. I think it is Monk. This is one of my favorite ornaments.

The wicker star! I had so much fun decorating with my man. I will post my favorite childhood decoration when Greg gets it out of the storage space.

i love your ornaments and tree! i have a lonely two ornaments on my tree that are not from michael's. perhaps now that i have a tree i will begin collecting as well.
Thanks. I walked into my living room this morning and found my tree on its side, with ornaments on the floor all around it. I guess I need to get that apple stuff ASAP!
