Since returning from our trip last weekend, I have been buried in meetings and research papers. I am finally coming up for air today, and making my belated election post.
Greg and I would have been fired up about this election regardless of where we lived, but voting in
"I solemly swear (or affirm) that whenever I give my vote or suffrage, touching any matter that concerns the State of Vermont, I will do it so as in my conscience I shall judge will most conduce to the best good of the same, as established by the Constitution, without fear or favor of any person." (
Having to make this oath reminds you of how important it is to vote. We are also proud to have voted for Bernie Sanders, the first Socialist to be elected to the Senate.

Wow - I'm really surprised the poll officials allowed pictures to be taken. Can't believe the paper ballots look like that.
I know! I should have gotten pictures of the eighty year old women running the place!
