Had a great time last night at The Boot, and then the Taphouse. Dinner at seven, and we arrived at eight. I think it was the first time that I have ever been an hour late for anything. We ran into a bit of trouble when we tried to write a check to get across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Who knew it would cost twelve dollars?
Anyway, it was a perfect evening, once we got there. I really felt at home sitting around the table with all our favorite pals (Check out Twittering Bird for pictures of the evening). It was so nice to be back in our old stomping grounds, even if it was just for a night. We will be back on Sunday! Potluck at the Whites on Sunday Night, be there or be square.
Thanks to Cassie, Bobby, Pico and Lucy for letting us crash at their snazzy place. It was great to see all of the work they have put into their house in just a year. Thanks for the smokes and jokes, friends...
