Our new friend Dizzy

We found this little guy living under our deck. We took him inside on Wednesday before the snow storm hit, that's right, I said snow storm! We took him to the vet, and he will be living in the study until we find him a home. He is about one, and he is gaining back his weight pretty fast. He is super sweet, he has not bitten or scratched us at all, and we have bathed him, blow dried him, picked him up, and put him in a kennel to go for his vaccinations. I hope we find him a home soon, he is super sweet! We are calling him Dizzy Gillespie because he has big jowls.

I will post some shots of our "sugar snow" storm tomorrow.

awww, sweet kitty. my family had a black cat when I was growing up- Spooky. This cat reminds me of her. My new neighbor next door is a writer for peta, and she is the master of cat rescuing (i.e. she has about six cats, all rescue). She would be a good contact for you when you guys move back here. Just don't tempt me- I am so weak when it comes to cats. I can't even go into care-a-lot or petsmart, because it is so hard to avoid all those sweet animals up for adoption.

He's living in my office, and has a little bed. Dizzy's like that My Chemical Romance song "Welcome to the Black Parade:" No matter how you know it's wrong, you can't help yourself falling in love with it. Thank God, he's not Panic! At the Disco. They can go to hell.

Zubr!
