Birds in the snow

Well, we are having a snow and sleet storm, or as the weather channel calls it, a "wintry mix". We have all kinds of birds around the condo, which is kind of strange as we thought they would have gone to warmer areas by now. We suspect they are still around because of the nests they have around our deck and in the woods behind the building. So far, we have not captured a good picture of the big blue jays, or the grouse that hangs out in front gs's office.

It's also described as a "wintry bag," which is downright pornographic.

Also, the problem with these stupid Vermont birds is the problem with Vermont people: I've been grinding bread in my hands all morning, tossing it for them on the patio, trying to make friends, and all I get is the familiar reproach: "That better not be enriched white flour. Oh, no. We only eat multi-grain flax seed. Fatty."

gs (and I'm in the other room)

Yes, I really enjoy scrabble, though gs is much more competitive than I . I'm a real shark at spades though.
