Greg and I stopped by our Alma Mater on Sunday after having lunch at No Frill with my family. We went to the library and found his thesis. We walked around campus and got very homesick, then Greg took a picture of me on the bench where we met. It was a perfect afternoon.

Oh, I have never seen "the bench." That is so sweet... Who said what first?
Oh, I can't believe I never told you that story. I was sitting on the bench between classes, surrounded by about four other empty benches. Greg came up to me and asked if he could sit next to me. I looked around at the empty benches, then said Ok. We talked for about an hour then I gave him my pager number, this was pre-cell phone. I told him I was not interested in dating, but had just moved to Norfolk and did not know anyone in town. So, he called me a day or two later, and we went out on what started as a friendly cup of coffee, and ended up as a first date.
Wrong. There were twenty empty benches.

I definitely remembered the bench and most of the situation. I just could not remember who started the conversation and how. Greg, you are so smooth!
I can't wait to read Greg's review when I emerge from the mound of grading that I am suffocating under!
